FARRAGUT ADMIRALS

Perhaps you, like us, have been following an exceptional ongoing photo essay appearing at ChicagoTribune.com. Photographed by Scott Strazzante, THE SEASON chronicles game-by-game happenings of the Fenger High School basketball team. Scott usually publishes imagery from off the court; players being themselves while a camera snaps away. It's raw, it's real, and it's good stuff, so with apologies and thanks to Scott we thought we would copy. Well to the best of our ability that is. So here goes our first attempt..........

With all our gratitude and thanks to Farragut head coach William (Wolf) Nelson (above), we were allowed into his lockerroom before Farraguts game Thursday (1-24-08) against Crane. What we saw was a bunch of players having a great time during a great time of their lives. They were loose yet ready and prepared. Thanks guys; thanks coach.
